These can be pallets, roller cages, plastic boxes, railway wagons, air cargo containers, recycling bins and any other returnable transport items (RTI) that companies use in their logistics processes. Vilant Asset Tracking solution is designed for tracking with RFID high volumes of RTIs. Vilant has a complete asset tracking solution that includes Hardware, software and the needed services to implement and maintain your RFID system. All the assets are first equipped with appropriate UHF RFID tags carefully selected from a wide range of available tags. The RFID tracking system is then put into place. This includes the installation of fixed readers or gates that track the movement of your assets and gives real-time updates to the RFID tracking software. The RFID tracking software has a friendly user interface and enables full control of your assets wherever they are – at your customer, in your own yard or in transit.

Some customers prefer using RFID handheld devices for tracking their assets or a mix of different readers. Vilant provides an intuitive client software for the users to interact with the RFID system from the handheld devices or a touch screen computer installed on a fixed reader or gate.
